They demanded a sacrifice that would please them, and so they sent their most powerful magician to find one. The magician found a girl with tattoos, sunken cheeks, and an extreme thinness. He decided to use her as his sacrifice. As he approached her on the sandstone altar, she began to twitch and writhe in pain. She was in excruciating agony as he pierced her skin with tiny needles and injected drugs into her veins. Her body shook uncontrollably as she fought against the pain, but it was no use. She lay there on the altar, barely conscious as he carved runes into her flesh with a knife made of obsidian. When he was finished, she lay there motionless on the altar like a doll waiting for someone to play with it again...
