The ancient Persian city-state of Uruk was once a thriving center of commerce and culture, but now it is a ghostly place haunted by the ghosts of its past. One such ghost is the girl named Aisha, who was sacrificed to the pagan god Ba'al in an ancient ritualistic ceremony. She lies on a sandstone altar, her body covered in mosquito bites and her skin pale and thin. Her eyes are sunken into her skull, and she twitches involuntarily as if suffering from some unseen pain.As she lies there, Aisha's mind drifts back to happier times when she was full of life and energy. But now all that remains is an empty shell of what once was. She has been through so much pain and suffering that it feels like nothing can ever make her happy again.But then something strange happens - Aisha begins to feel a strange sensation in her body as if something is trying to break free from within her. It's like a fire burning inside of her, slowly but surely building up until it finally explodes out in a burst of energy that leaves everyone around her stunned with shock.Aisha opens her eyes for the first time in weeks, only to find herself surrounded by people who are staring at her with wide-eyed amazement.
